Dinner Party 

I feel that the overall design of the book works well. The use of the 135-gsm paper for the inside pages and 270-gsm for the cover design gives off a good feel in the hand as well a good look to the design. The colours used have created a good overall feel to the design as the cool blue and china white paper give a slight off look colour that is visually pleasing, while the use of the signatures on the back of the pages works really well and give off a strong dinner party like feeling to the design as well as giving a visual rhythm. I feel that the uses of the typography throughout the design help give off the feeling of each guest’s personality and that the creative nature of the type helps it to standout to the reader.  I think that the body text within the booklet is set out well due to the use of a strong grid system and creative margins, helping to make the book look very strong to the eye.
